If you love the thrill of V8 Supercars, then Conrad Jupiters is the place to be when the fastest men in Australian motorsport, momentarily slow down on Wednesday October 18 to enjoy the Gillette V8 Supercar Licensed to Thrill Lunch, presented by Niecon.
Hosted by Channel Ten’s Bill McDonald and set to be a highlight of Lexmark INDY 300 race week, the afternoon of pure V8 indulgence kicks off at 12.30pm. Guests will get a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with the stars of Holden and Ford, including the winning Bathurst 1000 team, and this year’s Bartercard Miss V8 Supercar and Gillette girls.
The big names of the V8 Supercar show have all agreed to attend, and the guest list includes Ford’s Craig Lowndes and James Courtney, and from the Holden camp Mark Skaife and Todd Kelly.
Also joining the fans for lunch will be previous winner of the Gold Coast’s Gillette race, Greg Murphy; the blue oval’s Jamie Whincup and Holden’s Cameron McConville.
Organisers have also promised that the winners of Bathurst will be dining, full of all the chat from their victory at Mount Panorama. Whoever is leading the championship after the 1000km enduro will be also in attendance, telling guests his plans to fend off his rivals on the challenging Surfers Paradise street circuit.
Bill McDonald will interview all the drivers on stage and fans will have the chance to ask questions of their V8 heroes, view some of the year’s best action from Network Ten and hear the latest news from the pits.
Adrenalin charged, the lunch will include the Gillette V8 Supercar Challenge ‘Phantom Race’, whereby each table will race as a V8 Supercar Team with the winning table taking home their own trophy and a swag of prizes.
Raising money for Variety Queensland, guests will also have the chance to bid on some motorsport memorabilia, and try their luck on the lucky door prizes.
Tickets for the Gillette V8 Supercar Lunch, presented by Niecon, are $89 per person or a table of ten for $890, with your ticket including a two-course lunch and beverages.
